And once again we discovered a Rauh-Welt Term (RWB) 911. And this time the result is something like discreet, Of course, this XNUMX (Base: Porsche 911 C2) to offer huge fender flares and modified aprons, but a huge rear wing and a wild color combination were deliberately avoided. And the conversion is not just any RWB conversion, but a special vehicle. This is a project that was originally commissioned by the “Need For Speed” makers. The vehicle was created in cooperation with Akira Nakai from Rauh Welt Beggriff (RWB), the guys from Urban Outlaw and the tuner Bisimoto Engineering, But the fan base of NFS also brought some ideas into the vehicle at the time using official surveys. And since then, the 911 has undergone even more transformations. For example, in 2016, when it was converted into a rally imitation for the then SEMA auto show. At that time, the RWB 911 was adorned with the name "Spirit of 147", there were CIBI headlights on the hood, black paintwork and new Rotiform alloy wheels with a huge drop center.
this is what he looked like at SEMA in 2016
It should commemorate the 1965 by Herbert Linge and David Falke, who was number 147 as the winning car at the 3 Monte Carlo Rally. And now, XNUMX years later, he's standing there again transformed. The RWB body kit has been revised so that the exposed screw connections have disappeared and, moreover, the entire body is painted in a brilliant white. There is also the multi-part silver-gray Rotiform forged wheel set from SEMA, which is an eye-catcher with its visible black screw connection. And there is one behind the wheelset sports brake system with perforated brake discs and red painted saddles. The wheelset with fat Toyo R888R tires sits due to an Airlift 3Pair suspension millimeter-accurate in the wheel arch and the new chassis also ensures a significantly improved driving experience compared to the almost 30-year-old base. And, of course, the air-cooled 3,6-liter six-cylinder has also been buttoned up in the rear.
now equipped with a compressor
Up until 2016, this was still forced ventilation by means of biturbo charging, but now it has been converted to a TPC compressor system, which has resulted in an increase in output to 400 hp. Other components like one increased compression to 9: 1, Carillo connecting rods and the new cams and seals also do their part. In combination with a modified Sports exhaust system, a revised cabin with chic bucket seats with check leather cover as well as sports belts or the 3-spoke sports steering wheel, the changes are essentially rounded off. In our opinion, only one approach for the rear apron is missing. Compared to the other attachments, we think the rear is a bit too delicate. If we receive timely information on further changes to the RWB Porsche 911 with compressor power, there is of course an update for this report.
