Saturn

The Saturn Corporation was a car company from Spring Hill, Tennessee in the United States. Between the founding, as a subsidiary of General Motors, 1985 and bankruptcy 2009, nine models were produced. Only the Saturn S series from the years 1990 - 2002 was an in-house development, all other models were under one OpelLicense, including based on the Opel Astra and Opel Vectra, produced and distributed primarily in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. In the field of vehicle tuning the Saturn Sky (USA) is very popular. In Germany, the Sky was sold under the model name Opel GT. Several companies have specialized in tuning Saturn models and offer this service in Germany as well. So the performance can be increased up to 600 PS - a dream for all tuning fans and speed enthusiasts. General Motors has buried the subsidiary, a re-production is not planned, after the remedial efforts in the form of a company sale have failed completely.
