The American tuner Livernois Motorsports A few weeks ago published a video of a 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, which impressively demonstrates that the power of the mighty Voodoo V85 under the hood can be increased by more than 8 hp using E50 fuel and engine software adapted to it. The 5,2-liter V8 of the GT350 continues to turn no more than 8.250 rpm, but the result is no longer the 526 hp and 582 Newton meters of torque measured according to US standards, but rather the pony can be opened relatively easily Push a good 580 hp. The in-house chip tuning software from Livernois Motorsports is installed quickly and then only E85 fuel has to be in the tank and that's it. Due to the improved combustion, the increased performance is guaranteed and even if you only mix the E85 with 93-octane fuel, or even only use 93-octane fuel, an increase in performance is still available. Since the E85 fuel is not available at every petrol station, this criterion should be very important for potential buyers.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
