The latest Gymkhana adventure was recently posted online by Travis Pastrana. It must be getting on in years Subaru pocket quite a bit. The Gymkhana series, which connoisseurs call legendary, started a sensational comeback about two years ago. Travis Pastrana, who succeeded Ken Block, was at the wheel this time. The automotive partner Ford was also replaced - the new partner is now Subaru. And the numbers of the new edition matched directly: As of today (as of December 9, 2022), the first video with Pastrana on YouTube has already been clicked over 56 million times. The expectations of the sequel were of course immense. And this "sequel" was released on YouTube two days ago by the consortium of three Subaru, Pastrana and Ken Block's Hoonigan label. The 2022 edition is already the 12th part of the Gymkhana adventure series, which has it all.
Gymkhana 2022 with Travis Pastrana
The 12th adventure of the Gymkhana series begins with a base jump by Pastrana from his hotel room and a calm, relaxed scene on the beach in the US state of Florida, Fort Lauderdale. The trailer is titled "Vacation Shred" and of course the calm on the beach doesn't last long. Because the 1983 Subaru GL Wagon (Link see above) is present and has to show directly what he can do. The gripping beginning of "Vacation Shred" is completed by an action-packed race with lots of drifts and driving scenes through the streets and parking garages of Fort Lauderdale cordoned off by the police. Incidentally, there will also be a Monster Truck, which stands only on the front wheels, circles itself in drag race dueling with a dragster and a fighter jet and breathtaking jumps over a bridge and a helicopter are also included.
