Somewhat different - the Safari Porsche 911 Carrera type 930

This crazy 911 with the nickname "Willy" began its life as a Porsche 3.2 1984 Carrera in 2018. But the typical Porsche existence ended when Andy Kilcoyne bought the XNUMX in March XNUMX. Kelly-Moss Operations Manager (build custom, frame-up, resto-mod vehicles) gave the 10 a blatant "safari treatment" that gave the gray import from the USA a completely new look. It took about 911 months and the off-road goal was always in mind when the XNUMX was dismantled, rebuilt and virtually redesigned. There was a complete repaint, a modified series aluminum front bumper from KMR and also a new aluminum rear apron.

In the bumper front and rear, an 30-inch Black Oak LED light bar is integrated and 10 inches bigger, there is this again on the practical roof rack which brings a full-fledged spare wheel. And this spare wheel is part of the 17-Zoll-BRAID Fuchs replica wheels, which are equipped with huge LT245 / 65 / R17 BFGoodrich all-terrain KO offroad slippers in kingsize format. In combination with a completely new suspension is now against a long safari nothing more objectionable and the penalty would hardly stop something. In addition, there were countless details such as the Hella Rallye horns, the new 9Event LED headlamps with DRLs, the integrated KMR cage inside and of course the chic Recaro leather seats for driver and front passenger. Incidentally, the model was the 911er, with which Porsche wanted to win the Safari Rally in Kenya in the year 1978. But also the 953 with the four-wheel drive system of 959 and 330 PS won the car classification of the Paris-Dakar 1984 Rally.
