Have you ever wondered that you from the Bulgarian tuner Vilner Haven't heard anything in 2018? There was a good reason for this because the company was extremely busy with a new project that took a lot of time. The result is called "Mitsubishi Allroads Ronin by Vilner“And is one of the most extensive renovations Vilner has carried out to date. The project name was inspired by Japanese traditions and probably best describes the completely modified 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer. Almost no component can be compared with the series and anyone who knows Vilner knows that even components that are barely visible are refined down to the last detail.
Tradition and craftsmanship have shaped the center of the concept and so the Mitsubishi deliberately comes with soft and especially warm colors that have an extreme presence. The interior is set off by various metal applications that are to remember a katana sword which is known to be the most powerful weapon of a samurai. In addition, the entire headliner is embossed with white / black ornaments and also stands out. The doors, the center armrest, the headrests and other parts of the interior are characterized by a complicated relief motif and at first glance it looks like a 3D wood print.
But if you look closer, and touch the parts, you can see that here was used velor optically also the design of a Samurai armor is held. And completely new is the use of Amaretta artificial leather which was used instead of classic Alcantara. Vilner uses the high-tech material to cover large parts of the door panels, the dashboard, AB and C pillars, and the center sections of the seats (the rest of the seats are covered with smooth leather) and even the hat rack. In addition, they have also adopted the handbrake lever and installed a completely covered with leather metal shifter. And even the floor mats shine in a completely redesigned look and adapt to the design.
A highlight in the interior, of course, is the steering wheel, which is also completely redesigned and covered with nappa leather and Amaretta leather, and is now ergonomically shaped. And even the instrument cluster has been set up and so the speedometer and also the tachometer in Ferrari style with blue backlight and with special Vilner details shines. Rounding out the elaborate interior with brown seat belts and a frameless rearview mirror. In contrast to the many other projects, the exterior of this vehicle has also been significantly redesigned. A little bit of the Lancer acts as if he were for the Day of the Last Judgment .
There was a lift by 20 mm, a set of Yokohama Geolandar A / TS tires on “Candy-Apple-Red” painted aluminum rims and an increase in performance to 241 hp. You shouldn't hear much of this in the interior, however, because the additionally built-in 35 kg of sound insulation ensure much less noise in the interior and everything else is whitewashed by the infotainment system with 11-inch touchscreen monitor and integrated rear view camera. Other changes on the outside include additional 60 W aluminum LED headlights on the radiator grille, wheel arch extensions front and rear, many matt black and red accents on the body or the huge rear apron with integrated rear diffuser and 4-pipe sports exhaust system.
But that was far from being the case at the rear because the Lancer had an additional spoiler lip for the tailgate and a huge "RONIN" lettering below the taillights. And of course we don't want to forget the painted ornaments on the roof, which are a mirror image of the roof lining in the interior and are a first for Vilner. At the end there is a "razor-sharp" bullet that does not exist a second time. If we get more details about the changes, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
