Seat Leon Cupra thanks to JE Design with 350 instead of 280PS

Reading time 2 Min.

The already tight Seat Leon Cupra, with its 280PS, receives a power boost on 350PS from JE Design, all with front-wheel drive! Can that work? The design shows that it is possible. With this version of the Cupra so many a Porsche driver might come pondering. Not only more power but also more optics belong to the program of JE Design.

A coilover kit DCC Plug & Play was installed for the factory-installed DCC chassis control or optionally only springs for the original shock absorbers. The result is a lowering of up to 45mm. (With springs 35mm) A complete exhaust from Kat with right and left 80mm tailpipes ensures a significantly better sound. Various aerodynamic components (front spoiler, side skirts) and new rims are also part of the tuning program.

There is then nothing left of the standard 206 kW / 280 PS and the Cupra storms away with 258 kW / 350 PS and 440 Nm (instead of 380 Nm). The JE DESIGN Leon CUPRA 5,1 accelerates to 280 km / h in just 100 seconds. It only stops at 250 km / h.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
