Senner Tuning MINI Cooper SE on 18 inches!

The following MINI Cooper SE was tuned by the tuning specialists from Ingelheim: von Senner Tuning. The result can be seen and also felt in the driving behavior. A new wheel set makes the Mini Cooper lighter, faster and more manoeuvrable. The selected aluminum ensure more driving pleasure and dynamics and at the same time allow the Mini Cooper to cover even longer distances. The Alus are particularly light! The MF1 rims come from mbDesign, have a champagne lacquer finish and feature a magnesium alloy that reduces the weight of the Rims significantly reduced. They are particularly light: only 7,4 kg at 7,5×18 inches. The tires chosen are Michelin Pilot Sport rubbers, in size 215/40R18. This means that the Mini Cooper loses 5 kg "per wheel" compared to the standard tires. That is a reduction in the total weight of 20 kg and you can feel it.

And the weight Loss leads to an increase in range. Because you consider: the reduced weight is due to less unsprung, rotating masses, which have a direct impact on energy efficiency. Also, Senner Tuning has one coilover installed. The Mini Cooper now drives with a KW Variant 3, which also allows a slight increase in range, especially in combination with the new tires and rims. The deeper body should bring about a whopping 10 percent more range. Because this reduces air resistance. As a result, the comfort of the Mini is not worsened by the chassis with integrated rebound damping, but at the same time the handling is improved. The team around the owner Benno Dairy farmer has long made a name for itself and is considered the contact in the Rhine-Main area. The costs for the conversion and the tuning measures amount to almost €6.500.
