2020: Shelby GT350 and GT350R with Heritage Edition Pack

After my bad news from yesterday come much better today regarding the Shelby American brand. For 2020, Shelby has just announced that so-called Heritage Edition Package to be launched as a limited version. It is said to commemorate the legendary GT350 as a 1965 Fastback Coupé by Carroll Shelby (driven by Ken Miles) and contains only optical components. You don't touch the technology. The package is intended to celebrate the 55-year partnership between Ford and Shelby. If the Mustang is equipped with the Heritage Edition Package, the body is painted with the classic Wimbledon White (Wimbledon White) and the striking stripes join the vehicle in Guardsman Blue (Guardsman Blue). The stripes run centrally over the entire car and are also close to the side skirts to see. The look is identical to that of the 1965 GT350 Competition by Ken Miles.

Heritage Edition package costs $ 1965

But the paintwork is also a tribute to the long-recognized racing colors of the USA: Blue and white. There are also special Shelby emblems front and rear and a continuous badge for the cabin is included. With regard to the seats, there is a new variant in black with red stitching, which rounds off the Heritage Edition package. By the way, the good news is that at just $ 1965, the premium is quite affordable. The bad news is that you should budget at least 350 US dollars for a GT60.000 and, if it is the "R" variant, you will even have to pay almost 74.000 dollars. By the way: Even the extra charge is reminiscent of 1965! If we receive timely information on further changes for the 2020 Shelby GT350 And GT350R Heritage Edition Pack, there is of course an update for this report.
