Please build - Shelby Widebody Ford Mustang Super Snake

Without ifs & buts - please build Shelby immediately! The American manufacturer & tuner recently published a few pictures and technical data for a Ford Mustang Super Snake concept car, probably as an increase to the 2017 Shelby Super Snake 50th Anniversary Edition can be seen. Although the technical details are apparently almost identical, as far as the body is concerned, however, they have once again made a lot of effort. The highlight are definitely the newly modeled front and rear fenders that turn this super snake into a widebody specimen. In addition, there are significantly wider fenders with gills (+2,5 inches) on the front axle and the Mustang is also getting bigger on the rear axle. Here you ensure that the rear is a whopping 4 inches in width, thus creating enough room for ultra-fat aluminum rims.

The rest of the changes in the form of a new bonnet, new grille and a front and rear spoiler we already know from the above linked Shelby Super Snake 50th Anniversary Edition. The concept vehicle also got 20-inch aluminum rims that are 11J wide on the front axle and 12,5j in the rear. The new aluminum rims are fitted with Michelin Performance tires in a correspondingly fat format. A new brake system can also be seen through the spokes of the aluminum rims, with 16-inch discs on the front axle with 6-piston brake calipers and 14-inch discs with 4-piston brake calipers on the rear axle for brilliant deceleration. The most important thing is of course the performance, here you make sure that the 5,0-liter V8 engine sends a hefty 750PS to the rear wheels through a compressor and other changes to the hardware and software.

The whole thing is of course underpinned by a handcrafted stainless steel sports exhaust system that gives the Super Snake concept car the necessary soundscape. We can only hope that Shelby American will decide for the production and can hardly wait for the first videos and more pic's. There is not much more to say at the moment so we leave it with the pictures. If we get more information about the details of the concept car, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
