Skoda launched the bestseller Octavia a good year ago. The four-eyed face was certainly the most noticeable change. The outcry from the Skoda community was just as great as in 1995 when the Mercedes-Benz W210 was launched with four eyes. But a year later hardly anyone is talking about the polarizing design of the Skoda either. You got used to the distinctive Czech. Certainly because there is a lot of technology in addition to the new look and the usual ample storage space is still available without restriction. Apart from the new 1.5 TSI ACT and the 115 PS - 1.6 TDI, the engines have been retained and are particularly impressive in the form of the RS with 245 PS (MKB DLBA) with a lot of bang. The "Octavia RS" ensures that the medium-sized series of the Czech VW offshoot is transformed from a disdainful family station wagon into a dynamic all-purpose weapon. This also applies to the RS Diesel, which was available almost from the start in the form of the 2.0 TDI (since 07/2013) with 184 PS.

Reason enough for the engineers at H&R to take measurements and develop special sport springs. These harmonize perfectly with the standard chassis and make the "RS" appear even more dynamic. The body is lowered by approx. 50 millimeters by installing the sport springs, which makes the long-legged character of the production model disappear. Of course, this makes itself felt in terms of driving dynamics. Especially with brisk load changes, the Octavia now has more "bite", while at the same time it impresses with its significantly improved appearance. The H&R sport springs, including reports, are available now, and the well-known “Trak +” wheel spacers can also be ordered for the Czech. They ensure that the standard or retrofit wheels are perfectly aligned with the body edges.
