Affordable sports package: new Skoda Octavia RS Plus!

In the dynamic top model of the fourth OCTAVIA generation, the manufacturer only uses the most powerful engines in the series. With the OCTAVIA RS PLUS, customers can choose between a 180 kW (245 PS) * 2,0 liter four-cylinder TSI and a 2,0 TDI that develops 147 kW (200 PS). Both the diesel engine of the new EVO generation and the efficient gasoline engine are available with an automatic 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG).

Skoda Octavia RS Plus

In the diesel engine, ŠKODA optionally combines the 7-speed DSG with all-wheel drive. Buyers can also get the 2,0 TSI with a manual 6-speed gearbox. The special model has a sports suspension that has been lowered by 15 millimeters and progressive steering ex works - both underline the dynamic driving experience and agile handling of the OCTAVIA RS PLUS. In addition to its sporty driving characteristics, the OCTAVIA RS PLUS scores with many popular equipment features. These include, for example, anthracite-colored 19-inch alloy wheels in the Altair high-sheen design, a reversing camera and the 3-zone Climatronic air conditioning. The manufacturer dresses the interior with a microfibre Alcantara leather trim, the ambient lighting sets chic lighting accents. The driver can adjust the front ergo seats electrically as required, and both the front and outer rear seats have heated seats.

10 inch display & Bluetooth

The steering wheel, which is also heated with multifunction buttons, is characterized by its sporty design; for variants with DSG, there are additional paddles. In addition, the special model scores with technical refinements. The standard Columbus navigation system has a 10-inch display and includes a Bluetooth hands-free telephone system and three years of infotainment online free of charge. Using SmartLink, drivers can also wirelessly connect their smartphone to the vehicle. The OCTAVIA RS PLUS also has the online-capable ŠKODA Connect1 including remote vehicle access on board. One of the highlights is the head-up display: It projects important information such as the current speed onto the windshield in the driver's field of vision. The OCTAVIA RS PLUS also makes a big difference when it comes to the assistance systems: parking steering, lane change and front wheel assist including city emergency braking function and person and cyclist detection are also part of the scope of delivery, as are high beam, headlights, evasion and turning assistants.

The Traveler assistance system, which is also included, includes the predictive and adaptive distance assistant, traffic sign recognition, the adaptive lane departure warning system and - for versions with direct shift transmission - the emergency and traffic jam assistant. In conjunction with the 2,0 TSI 180 kW (245 PS), ŠKODA offers the OCTAVIA RS PLUS from 43.056 euros including 16 percent VAT, the OCTAVIA COMBI RS PLUS starts at 43.738 euros. When buying, customers benefit from a price advantage of up to 3.190 euros with 16 percent VAT compared to a comparably equipped OCTAVIA RS.
