Slammed Audi R8 with yellow-green foiling and on 20 inches!

It was the first super sports car from Ingolstadt and was a great success. After the takeover of Lamborghini, Audi has for the first time mass-produced a Porsche and Ferrari competitor based on the Lamborghini Gallardo, the first-generation R8. At first there were doubts as to whether the spoiled and solvent supercar clientele would accept four rings on their car, but these doubts were quickly dispelled. Above all, the sound of the eight-cylinder was convincing right from the start, just like the very dynamic design language, which is a mixture of a TT and a Lamborghini, and made the first R8 a design icon that is still immediately noticeable in road traffic today . The British tuner was also able to achieve this charm Jordan Clarke not resist, and made the steep climb from a Daewoo Lanos, which he drove as the first car, to the dynamic Ingolstadt.

Colorful dynamic with a cool look.

Not too much has been changed on the body, because next to that yellow-green foiling called Acid lime, which was designed and applied by Identity Wraps, still held front splitter , and a rear spoiler by Maxton Design, moving into the super sports car from Ingolstadt. In addition, were still side skirts attached by Prior Design, which provide an even more dynamic look.

But now the biggest change to the car comes in the form of the Intermotiv Airride chassis for carrying, which presses the bolide very close to the asphalt. In order to adjust the height of the landing gear as required, a Air Lift 3P control built in, which can be easily operated from the cockpit. When rims were 20-inch Alus called OZ Futura, which were completely individualized by Wheels Unique.

With the five-spoke look in shiny silver, they look extremely sporty on the R8, and also classically elegant. In order to properly install the rims, you also had to spacers with a diameter of 12 mm on the front axle and with a diameter of 25 mm on the rear axle. In our opinion, the R8 is made for a big appearance. Already equipped with eye-catching potential from the factory, this model by Jordan Clarke raises the bar a bit higher.

The custom interior ensures astonished looks.

The special one Octagon graphic the Alcantara / leather seat covers, which are somewhat reminiscent of the diamond pattern from Bentley's customization department Mulliner reminds, is extremely noticeable because the octagons are kept in blue, and were therefore chosen completely contrary to the exterior paintwork in yellow-green. You have to like it, but tastes are known to be completely different. This joins in Custom carbon / leather steering wheel with blue stitching by ControlCustoms. In the front trunk of the R8, which is known to have a rear engine, the compressors housed for the air landing gear, and in the cockpit still held special SlammedUK floor mats Indent.

A 4,2-liter V8 with 440 hp ensures proper propulsion.

The 4,2 liter V8 naturally aspirated gasoline engine, which is less known for its ultra-sporty driving performance than for its infernal sound, was made with the help of a Stage1 remappings from Revo, and one Straight pipe sports exhaust system from SS Autowerks on 440 PS pushed. That is 20 hp more than the production version. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox with an open gate shift. The R8 is therefore a case for purists who do not want to miss the unfiltered sound and the original driving feeling of an athlete with an open shift gate.

Our Conclusion about this Audi R8 from the British tuner Jordan Clarke:

A dream car for all tuning fans. With its foiling and the fictitious start number “05” on the doors, the Ingolstadt-based driver is reminiscent of the racing cars from the Nürburgring 24-hour race, even if it is anything but a track tool.
