From manufacturer smart there is currently news about a planned all-electric performance variant of the clever #1. A teaser on this was recently released, giving a glimpse of the all-wheel drive variant with expected up to 428 PS should show. The battery from the Weirui Electric Auto Technology (Ningbo) Corporation is said to have a capacity of 66 kWh and the top model should not make any secret of the Brabus tuning cure. Because diverse BRABUS logos, front spoiler, a bigger one rear spoiler, bigger alloy wheels, red-black calipers as well as additional air intakes at the front make the difference to the series clear.

Next it should probably red frieze give on the front lip and on the bumpers, in combination with black trim. The start of sales as a "Launch Edition" is planned for the beginning of September and the first deliveries in early 2023. In Germany, the variant with rear-wheel drive and 272 PS hit the road and in Austria and Switzerland an all-wheel drive version. The smart BRABUS #1 model will then follow in all likelihood a year later. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
