Ok - on request it comes with a huge roll-up roof. But that real convertible feeling doesn't really come from the annoying roof pillars of the Fiat 500C. That's all very nice, but if you are out and about in a convertible you don't actually want to see large components of the car when you look up, but rather the blue sky. The last time it was in the 500cc was the “Spiaggina” which was presented to the world on July 4, 1958 in Capri. And exactly 60 years later, the tuner comes Garage Italia Customs which in cooperation with Fiat opens the 500er completely. Just like the little 500 from that time, the Spiaggina 4.0 comes without a roof.

What is also spectacular about the new product is the fact that there is no windshield, but only a tiny wind deflector to protect the driver and front passenger. In addition, the back seat has been completely removed and the space created can now be used as a loading compartment WITH an “integrated shower”! There is also a classic two-tone paint job in Volare blue and white and super chic whitewall tires (Pirelli P Zero Nero GT) on new rims.

So that it is clear that it is not just a pure show car, there was even a roll bar that should ensure safety and give the body the necessary rigidity due to the missing roof. The bracket also provides stiffening of the body and was developed in cooperation with the specialists at Pininfarina. The two-tone interior also impresses with a cozy, full-length bench in the style of the 60s. According to "Garage Italia" boss Lapo Elkann Incidentally, the study is only a blink of an eye away from mass production.

All the engines available for the Fiat 500 would fit into the little "strawberry basket" and maybe that is still a concern Abarth team a little with open temptation. In addition to the "Spiaggina by Garage Italia", Fiat is also bringing the "Fiat 500 Spiaggina '58" (Pictures at the end of the article) built on the basis of the year 1958 only exactly 1958 times. He is already orderable. If we receive timely information, there is, of course, as always, an update for this report.
