Hybrid meets driving fun: H&R sport springs for the Mercedes A 250e

You don't have to understand straight away that an “e” stands for “hybrid”. Otherwise, however, the guys from Stuttgart did little wrong with the "e" in the 250 A-Class. In addition to the usual quality and coveted design, the little Benz appeals with 218 hp system output, 240 km / h top speed and 6,4 seconds for the zero-hundred-sprint. Incidentally, this works even better if a set of the new H&R sport springs is on board. The vehicle's center of gravity, which has been lowered by approx. 35 millimeters, not only provides more agile steering behavior and reduced body inclination, but also provides a little more grip, which is very convenient for the front-wheel drive, especially on wet roads, in view of its rich torque of 450 Newton meters.

Nevertheless, the driving comfort remains typical of Mercedes and the payload remains as high as that of the series counterpart. With the optionally available TRAK + wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminum, series and retrofit wheels can be aligned to the fender edges with millimeter precision and ensure the perfect wheelbase.
