Deep SUV - H&R sport springs for the new Audi Q5 (FY)

Hard to believe, but the official presentation of the second generation of the Audi Q5 (internal type designation FY) was already two years ago. In October 2016, Audi presented the new Q5 at the Paris Motor Show, which went on sale in January of last year. Like the previous model, the new one is based on the modular longitudinal construction kit (MLB), but the FY is already using the 2nd generation "MLB evo". The current top model is of course the 354 hp SQ5 TFSI, for which the suspension specialists at H&R received theirs shortly after the presentation tailor-made sport springs have offered. And from now on, the owners of a “normal” Q5 Quattro can also enjoy the new chassis components. The normal Q5 is also clearly “sharper” and more dynamic than its predecessor, but there is still potential here too.

This is where the professionals from H&R come into play. Because after the SQ5, they have now also developed their sport springs for the current Q5 Quattro. They ensure that the stylish sports bikes, but also accessory rims, are about 55 millimeters deeper into the wheel arches and give the Q5 a completely new look. The Ingolstadt-based SUV looks much more beefy, even more self-confident and, thanks to the H&R modification, also noticeably gains in sporty character. The Q5 can also be upgraded with “Trak +” wheel spacers. These ensure that the standard or retrofit wheels are perfectly aligned on the wheel arch edges.
