The new coupé of the 8 series is now also being offered for the first time with a high-torque diesel that, contrary to all expectations, does not conflict with the overall luxurious appearance. The lively diesel not only depresses the fleet consumption of the Bavarians, but also provides extreme propulsion with a full 680Nm torque! With the new H&R sport spring set, the Munich diesel beau is now bowing to its sporty racing counterpart, the BMW M8 GTE. Here, too, H&R is involved in the fine-tuning of the performance and, as a technical partner of BMW Motorsport, supplies the chassis springs for the racing car. This lead in development can also be felt in the road vehicle after refinement with the H&R sport springs.

also Trak + wheel spacers available

The lowering of the vehicle's center of gravity by 30 millimeters ensures a more direct turn-in and reduces the rolling movement of the body in fast corners or in abrupt load changes without sacrificing long-distance driving comfort. The measure is also visually convincing, the wide aluminum of the 8 Series are now form-fitting in the wheel arches. But that's not all: H&R "Trak +" wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminum are available for aligning standard and retrofit wheels with millimeter precision on the wheel arch edges, which ensure a further increase in performance and optics. All components are also available for the other engines as well as for the 8 Series convertibles. As usual at H&R, all components have parts certificates and are 100% Made in Germany.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
