Range Rover has revised the successful Evoque! The L538 (2011-2018) generation has been replaced and now the L551 is available. But the layman must certainly look 2 x to make any difference to the old can. But they are there! The SUV style icon with coupé-like silhouette now has narrow Matrix LED headlights and corresponding taillights with dynamic turn signals. And as a small highlight there were extendable door handles. The rest are just retouching but are quite well done. But the biggest difference can be found in the cabin. The cockpit is completely new and emphasizes minimalist.
STARTECH carbon mirror caps
The highlights here are in any case the new Touch Pro Duo with two large touchscreens and also Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are on board. And just this new model year 2019 has now become the German tuner STARTECH pre-buttoned and developed a small upgrade program. For example, the mirror covers, the inserts for the fenders and also the optional bonnet attachment for the air vents on the right and left are made of premium carbon fiber. In addition, the tuner has made the in-house Monostar M and Monostar R alloy wheels suitable for the Evoque L551. The former is available in the format 9J x 22 inch and the latter version is provided by Startech in the format 20 inch.
Fender inserts in carbon
Different surfaces are available for both rims. And so that the wheelset sits optimally in the wheel arch, there is still a lowering by about 35 millimeters by means of sports springs for vehicles without air suspension. The cabin is currently limited to an aluminum pedal set including aluminum footrest. If we receive timely information on further changes, there is of course an update for this report.
