680 PS and 820 Nm! These are not the new key data of a more powerful Lamborghini Huracán, the Ferrari 488 GTB has not received a small increase in performance and the same applies to the McLaren 650S. The information refers to the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG S205 (W205 series) from the tuner wheelsandmore! The company's project "6.8 Startrack"! And while the slogan reminds a little bit of the movie Star Trek, we can imagine that Spock, Kirk or Pike would definitely have their real joy with the bullet. As standard, the Stuttgart Coupé comes with 476 PS & 650 NM torque and those who want can also order a 510 PS & 700 NM variant (AMGs). But both power levels are not enough for the German tuner and the above-mentioned 680 PS & 820 NM torque are available for both variants on request.
Of course, the company not only achieves the huge leap in performance by means of simple chip tuning because changes to the hardware are also inevitable here. In addition, new and significantly larger turbochargers were installed, modified downpipes and sports catalysts were installed, and a stainless steel sports exhaust system with valve control should not be missing. The whole thing is of course rounded off by means of chip tuning that allows all components to harmonize perfectly with each other. We are not aware of any new acceleration values, while the standard AMGs-Coupe broke the 3,9 km / h barrier after only 100 seconds, we assume that 3,5 seconds are now possible. The difference is likely to be particularly striking when accelerating from 100-200 km / h, here the performance-enhanced variant will surely set itself apart from the production model by several seconds. The significantly increased performance is also optimized by means of the KW coilover kit because this can be individually adjusted in rebound and compression and thus perfectly tailored to personal needs. And the tuner also leaves its mark visually and is now delivering three different wheel sets for the potent coupé.
In addition to the well-known 6Sporz² and FIWE wheelsets, the FiveStar model is now also available. This type also has a 3-part structure and, like the other two types of wheels, 10,0 × 20 inches at the front and 12,0 × 20 inches at the rear are installed. The multi-part structure also enables an individual color and surface design to be made, so everyone can leave their own personal touch. The wheels are uniformly equipped with UHP tires from Continental in the dimensions 255/30/20 and 305/25/20, which, despite the clear dimensions, will certainly have a hard time bringing the performance to the road without a blue cloud of smoke. If we get more information about the modifications to the C205, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
