New Ranger Stormtrak is based on the top production version Wildtrak

The Stormtrak special edition, based on the top production version Ranger Wildtrak, is characterized by an even more comprehensive range of features. Both Stormtrak variants of the 156 kW (213 PS) ensure powerful propulsion¹ powerful diesel engine from the Ranger family, the 2,0-liter EcoBlue with bi-turbo charging. A torque of up to 500 Nm ensures superior pulling power when towing a trailer. The all-wheel drive, which can be activated as standard, also allows off-road excursions without further ado, and the 10-speed automatic transmission portions the power gently and effortlessly.

Ford offers a paint job in Lucid red exclusively for the Ranger Stormtrak. It effectively stages the equally exclusive red radiator grille insert and the muscular front section. Frost white, royal gray and sapphire blue are available as additional exterior colors. LED headlights and the massive engine protection also contribute to the impressive appearance, as do the exclusive decors on the bonnet and flanks, the eye-catching three-dimensional badge, the black rear bumper and the likewise black sports bar. With around 1,0 tons of payload² and a maximum towing capacity of 3,5 tons³ the Ranger Stormtrak has the same values ​​as the Wildtrak version.

The Stormtrak seats are made from the same supple leather as the iconic Ranger Raptor, accented by embroidered Stormtrak logos and technical fabric inserts. Surfaces in dark graphite with red stitching pick up the respective exterior color.

In Germany, Ford offers the Ranger Stormtrak with an extra cabin from 46.885 euros net (55.793,15 euros gross). These are the prices for the Ranger Stormtrak with a double cabin: from EUR 47.035 net or from EUR 55.971,65 gross.

Electric load compartment blind: practical, comfortable and safe

The standard equipment of the Ranger Stormtrak with double cab also includes the electrically operated “Mountain Top” Industries load compartment blind, which comfortably and safely covers the load. This cover can be conveniently opened and closed using the radio remote control or operated using buttons located both on the loading area and on the dashboard. Sensors ensure anti-trap protection so that fingers are not injured or cargo is damaged.

For the Ranger Wildtrak with double cab, the electrically operated load compartment roller blind has been available on request for a long time - as part of the load compartment package 11. The Ranger Wolftrak: "Work hard, play hard"

“Work hard, play hard” - this is the motto of the beefy Ranger Wolftrak in off-road style with matt black details, electronic locking differential at the rear and robust all-terrain tires - available as an extra cabin and a double cabin. The Wolftrak is specifically aimed at drivers for whom reliable off-road performance is particularly important. The switchable all-wheel drive with RSC system (Roll Stability Control) and traction control improves climbing ability on steep inclines and progress on soft ground at the same time. 1,0 ton payload² as well as a maximum trailer load of 3,5 tons³ plus a standard load compartment protection tray also allow work on hard terrain. A manual load compartment cover and the Aeroklas hardtop are available as options - the latter only in matt black, matching the dark body details of the Ranger Wolftrak.

This special edition is based on the Ranger XLT and combines the 2,0-liter EcoBlue bi-turbo diesel engine with 125 kW (170 PS)¹ Output optionally with 6-speed manual transmission or with 10-speed automatic transmission.

An aerodynamic sports bar designed exclusively for the Ranger Wolftrak, which is supported to the rear with massive tubes, underlines the striking appearance of this special edition and enables devices or tools to be secured and loads to be lashed. The impressive paintwork in mystic gray skilfully emphasizes the lines of the pick-up; Grille, engine guard, 17-inch wheels and side skirt protection in black complete the attractive finish. As an alternative, the exterior color royal gray is available. Dark Wolftrak badges complete the exclusive design.

A matt black dashboard and matt black door panels as well as hard-wearing all-weather floor mats are among the details in the interior of the Ranger Wolftrak. The Ford SYNC 3 connectivity and navigation system with an 8-inch touchscreen is also part of the standard equipment.

In connection with the 6-speed manual transmission, the Ranger Wolftrak is available in Germany as an extra cabin from 35.390 euros net (42.114,10 euros gross). The price for the Wolftrak with 6-speed manual transmission and double cab: from 36.340 euros net (43.244,60 euros gross).
