If it's a modified one Subaru BRZ goes, then many probably think of one first drift car. This is not always the case, however, as there are many ways to BRZ the first generation or to modify the brother (Toyota GT86). This is how he shows Audio-Specialist Pioneer his own interpretation of the compact sports coupe that we want to present to you today.
Externally relatively inconspicuous!
At first glance, you wouldn't think that this is a test balloon for Pioneer audio systems. The demonstration vehicle has been finished with a motorsport foil, which is based on the design of Paul Newman's Nissan racing car. There are also height-adjustable XTAthread springs with adjustable damping hardness. The vehicle also features 18-inch Rota Grid rims with a satin black finish, which are fitted with 225/40 R18 Toyo Proxes tires. An OEM brake upgrade is also part of the demo vehicle tuning program. Last but not least, there is also a MilltekSports exhaust system made of stainless steel with two 4,5 inch tailpipes, which are also made of stainless steel.
Inside, it's a rolling discotheque!
The cockpit is more or less unchanged, but there's plenty of Pioneer multimedia equipment as an add-on. These include a Pioneer SPH-DA 230DAB audio system, TS-D65C two-way speakers (270W max) & TS-Z65CH two-way speakers (350W max) in the custom door panels, four amplifiers for the speakers, as well as two Subwoofers with 2000W each. This turns the BRZ into a rolling discotheque that generates a lot of attention.
A 2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine drives the sports coupe!
The naturally aspirated petrol engine with a displacement of 2 liters and without electrification generates 200 hp and 205 Newton meters of maximum torque as standard. It's probably a few horses and a few Newton meters more with the Milltek exhaust system. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.
Our conclusion:
- An exceptional vehicle set up by Pioneer UK as a demo vehicle and test balloon for new audio systems. We give it a thumbs up for that. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
