It's been almost 6 years since Subaru introduced the fourth generation of the Impreza in the USA and Japan in autumn 2011. In spring 2011, the series vehicles were presented as four-door notchback and five-door hatchback sedans at the New York International Auto Show, and a more conservative look was chosen for the design. The Subaru Impreza WRX STI, which has been available since June 2014 and is currently the most powerful Subaru with 221 kW (300 PS), is anything but conservative. The absolute highlight is definitely the mighty bonnet with a huge air inlet and the large rear wing that we already know from the previous models RB320, GD BE or RB5. But also modified bumpers and widened fenders are a feature of the top model. The photographer team all around "Zuumy“Has published wonderful pictures of just such a WRX STi the days and of course we don't want to withhold them from you.
Of course, the WRX STi is anything but original at first glance, but unfortunately we can only rely on what we can see in the pictures with regard to the changes because there is no information available. The absolute highlight is definitely that of 506 wraps attached Vollfolierung the so a little bit of the then very popular Mercedes 024 Designo light green remind. The accents in the fenders, the large diffuser, the exterior mirrors, a part of the rear spoiler, and the roof in matt black set off as an accent. The additionally attached front spoiler is made of carbon and fits perfectly into the new look. Visually fit the multi-part Volk Racing TE37 rims to the WRX with their screwing in body color and the chrome rim well even higher quality. Unmistakably, of course, an extreme lowering was installed and here we assume that you have opted for an Airride air suspension.
However, there is a special detail at the rear, here it is not the oversized rear wing that is enthroned but a rather subtle-looking spoiler lip in the ducktail style that certainly provides a little less contact pressure, but definitely looks more harmonious. Some factors also indicate that the engine performance does not really correspond to the series, both the intercooler and the additional instruments on the A-pillar suggest that the performance screw has also been turned. Somehow the oversized sports exhaust system with right and left tailpipes in stovepipe format has to be justified. Perhaps we will receive some information about the modifications in the next days & weeks, if this is the case you will of course be informed immediately.
