The Motopark team has established itself in Oschersleben under the leadership of Timo RUMPFKEIL since 1998 in all the important junior series in automotive racing and can look back on an impressive list of victories. Big names like Michael SCHUMACHER, Valtteri BOTTA and Max VERSTAPPEN have completed their motorsport “basic training” there. More than ten years ago, the company began restoring cars, converting “street cars”, installing performance enhancements and, finally, converting motorsport vehicles. After the first conversions each of a Porsche 997 GT3 for Olaf DOBBERKAU and Ruben ZELTNER to the rally version, the former Swedish racing driver Kevin KLEVEROS approached the Motopark team with the request to give a 997 GT3 RS a rally style that was not just looks like that, but also performs like this. The conversion contained all the important key data that are required for a rally conversion.

However, some compromises had to be made in terms of comfort and suitability for everyday use in order to be able to use the car accordingly. However, some of the "things" that Motopark has rebuilt require special mention. For example the rally chassis. The three-way adjustable full-spec dampers in special tuning come from REIGER. A thermostat ensures identical damping for cold and warm steamers. Feathers and bars were also "treated". There are still rebound and corner control valve. Furthermore, the underbody protection and the so-called mud flaps. Fresh air enters the interior through an air scoop. A custom-made stainless steel exhaust system optimized for rally use ensures, on the one hand, more power and, on the other hand, a massively better sound. Then there is a fly-off handbrake with an ABS kill switch.

Nightface xenon auxiliary headlights with carbon brackets turn night into day. And the brake pads with rally specification have a higher coefficient of friction and better cold grip. In the interior, the Motopark team has installed an optional cage extension available from Porsche. A rally counter uses GPS to calculate distances, average times, etc. A reading lamp for the passenger should of course not be missing! For the “war paint” of the GT3 RS, the Motopark crew finally brought Hajo LEMKE from 811 design on board. The end result of all “interventions” around this Porsche speaks a very clear language!
