Well 2 weeks ago it is now the Techart one first preview pointed to the extensive tuning program for the current Porsche Cayenne (type PO536-9YA). And now it is straight (Gen1. 9PA / Gen2. 92A) refined Cayenne generation of the tuner officially presented! And as announced, there is a full-size package with new aerodynamic components, a significant increase in performance, stylish aluminum rims and lots of changes in the interior. Let's start with the body kit. The Cayenne has a two-part front spoiler and a carbon fiber hood (aero hood) with two large air inlets. And there were also changes at the rear and Techart installed a newly designed apron including diffuser and the roof spoiler, which was active at the factory, was given a subtle spoiler profile and the tailgate was given a spoiler lip.
Integrated into the diffuser is a sports exhaust system with tailpipes made of stainless steel and carbon which brings a significantly improved soundscape especially with the V8 gasoline engine. The complete body is painted in elegant Champagne Metallic and Black Uni (Two-tone paint) which we feel as an excellent color choice. In the wheelset, Techart chose the in-house 22 inch large Formula V forged wheel in the multi-spoke design, which is upholstered in high-performance tires in the king-size format. And as already mentioned, there was also a significant increase in performance. The Techart engine electronics Techtronic for the Cayenne Turbo 9YA raises the factory 550 PS & 770 NM to a significant 640 PS & 900 NM.
This provides an acceleration to 100 km / h in just 3,7 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 300 km / h. And in an SUV! The presentation vehicle got a Techart flap exhaust system with four titanium tailpipes and carbon fiber sheathing which gives a powerful typical V8 sound to the environment. Optionally, the above-mentioned variant with tailpipes made of stainless steel. And as already mentioned, a lot has happened in the interior as well. The Cayenne comes with the new product line »Techart interior Rolf Benz«That is the barrier in Techart interior design. Through the refinements, the travel room reaches a new level of design and seating comfort with a restrained appearance. As a new material in the Techart assortment came natural wool in three different shades (original Rolf Benz cover material) for use.
It is extremely hard-wearing, breathable and at the same time dirt-repellent. In addition, it gives the interior a unique look and feel. There are meticulous details like the in Rolf Benz cloth covered underside of the headrests, a color-coordinated piping, chic yarns and lacquer surfaces and a roof lining made of black wool. The usual perfection is also evident in the fully leather-lined footwell, including matching foot and boot mats, to the handcrafted Techart briefcase, which finds its place in the glove compartment. More details are currently not available for the third generation of a Cayenne from Techart. If we receive timely information, there is of course as always an update for this report.
