A Tesla Model 3 with the soundscape of a classic combustion engine? For just $ 2.000 plus installation, that's no problem! Electric cars have many advantages, but it is certainly difficult to get the sound of the drive somehow attractive. But what if you absolutely want to drive an electric car such as a Tesla Model 3 but do not want to do without the soundscape of an internal combustion engine? Then you simply install a sound generator from Milltek and combine both. Milltek Sport is a German manufacturer of exhaust systems that has developed a new kit for installation in Tesla vehicles. Suitable systems are currently available for model 3, model S, model Y and model X. An exhaust on a Tesla? Bullshit! This is our opinion ...  And you can immediately hear that it is not a real sports exhaust system. It sounds like the innumerable factory sound generators that were installed in the Audi A6 TDI and Co. until recently. For example in the A6 Avant 3.0 TDI Biturbo.

V8 babble from the tin can

There was a sound actuator ex works that uses a microphone to record and analyze the sound waves generated by the engine, and spits them out as a V8 babble via a sound modulator. In our opinion, the boxes always sound like someone is making a peasant into a tin can. So we can get over the fact that these systems in this country have been banned anyway for some time. This also applies to the Milltek system, which however offers the best high-performance exhaust systems and hi-flow sports catalytic converters for classic combustion engines. Incidentally, the system can be controlled using a cell phone app and can imitate different soundscapes. There are currently up to 10 options to choose from. In our opinion, however, absolute cheese, especially with regard to the actual noise. And arguments worth mentioning for the installation cannot be found either. And you could have gone full steam ahead and the already modified vehicle (Foiling, lowering, motorsport alloy wheels, etc.) still miss tailpipes on the right and left. Then the nonsense would be perfect!
