When one of the first tuners ever had Papadakis Racing announced over 1.000 hp from the BMW B58 engine want to squeeze the new Supra. That was a good 6 months ago and now there is another video of the tuner. The Papadakis Racing Toyota Supra project running! Stephan Papadakis himself carried out the engine conversion and proves that it is possible to get 1.000 hp out of the engine. The video shows "almost" the finished product and it is really impressive to see.

"Wheel power" currently approx. 750 hp

Of course, the series engine was extensively revised and got, for example, new pistons and connecting rods and a fat turbocharger as well as new software. On the test bench, the "wheel power" is approx. 750 hp, which should correspond to around 860 hp engine power. For the 3,0-liter in-line six-cylinder, this is a remarkable value, but it seems that there is still room for improvement. After all, it was "only" tested with 25 psi boost pressure. An increase in the boost pressure and other changes should make the 1.000 PS tangible. We are excited!
