Actually nothing beats the true SUPRA FAN better than the 2JZ engine of the A80 generation. It is one of the most famous performance engines ever. Especially with regard to the possibilities to deal with modifications. Modified 2JZ with well over 1.000 hp are widespread in the tuning scene and are by no means uncommon. But now comes an Australian tuner called "WTF" who has donated a V12 with similar key data with an ambitious project for a Toyota Supra. This means that the vehicle belongs to the handful of V12 Supras like the well-known one V12-Supra from Top Secret Tuning which reaches a top speed of 357,6 km / h. And the Supra from WTF also uses the only V12 that Toyota has ever built in the form of the 5,0-liter 1GZ-FE naturally aspirated engine. It delivers 276 hp in series production, but with the two turbos from WTF Auto, more than 1.000 hp should be possible.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
