You are looking for an alternative Singer Vehicle Design's? Someone who is really familiar with old Porsche vehicles and is preferably based in this country? Then DP Motorsport from Overath just the right contact for you. The guys have proved that with the wrong Porsche 935 DPIII as well as a 911 Targa Speedster, And now comes the next project. Company founder Ekkehard Zimmermann and his racing-enthusiastic son Patrick have a team in the background that knows exactly what it does right down to the last screw and has now set up a beautiful 964 Carrera 2 in Irish Green (color code 213). Project name: "THE SPEEDY IRISHMAN"! The 911 has a bold muscular bodywork that has grown 50 mm at the same time.
964 Classic Carrera Widebody
A carbon / Kevlar reinforced plastic was used and internally the kit is called "964 Classic Carrera Widebody". But of course not only the body was revised. The entire vehicle is rebuilt and so it goes without saying that a high quality and brand new chassis is also used. DP decided in favor of KW Clubsport suspension struts including Unibal dome bearings which, in combination with PU bushings on the front axle links and Unibal bearings on the rear axle, convey a contemporary driving experience. The brand new Fuchs retro aluminum rims, which are manufactured using the ultra-modern forging process, are also contemporary. They are installed in the format 8 × 17 inches at the front and 9 × 17 inches at the rear and fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires in the dimensions 225 / 45-17 and 255 / 40-17.

Exactly the right format to bring the 325 PS of the newly built 3.8-liter boxer engine with the G50 5-speed manual gearbox with RS differential lock on the road. And the perfection also shows in a dreamlike interior. Here DP sports seats from Recaro with brown Porsche leather and Pepita and also the beige Bouclé rugs are laid to the last corner in meticulous manual work. There was also a prototype steering wheel from Momo and you have the dashboard, the center tunnel and many other minor details related with Alcantara. And even the gearshift is a work of art that has devoured a lot of work.

It consists of multi-layer glued wood and fits perfectly into the interior with its high-quality design. Visually restrained, but equipped with all the technical refinements, the Porsche Classic Navi Radio with USB and Bluetooth somehow justifies the conversion price of 198.000 € including the vehicle.
