The VW bus has been inspiring people around the world for generations. Pack donkeys, service trolleys, office vehicles or lifestyle transporters - the uses are varied. Reason enough for the suspension specialists at H&R - as the first supplier ever - to now also offer their height-adjustable spring systems for the popular VW T5 and T6 bus models. Either way - the Volkswagen series dampers are retained. H&R coil springs are used in vehicles with all-wheel drive as well as in the 2WD variant, and the active dampers also work as usual with the H&R upgrade. The ingenious technology, variably and precisely adjustable, enables the front axle to be lowered by approx. 25 - 45 millimeters, the possible lowering at the rear is approx. 15 to 50 millimeters.

This leads to a noticeably more direct turn-in and reduces the lateral inclination of the tall body in fast corners without sacrificing the necessary driving comfort. Last but not least, the optics of course also benefit from the measure. Sport springs, cup kit sport suspensions, monotube coilovers, sport stabilizers and Trak + wheel spacers remain in the H&R delivery program. All H&R products are 100 percent "Made in Germany" and always have the required parts certificates. H&R coil springs are only available through selected sales partners.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
