Crazy Tic Tac Tuning on the 800 PS BMW M3 (E30)!

Here comes our car of the month! Curtain up for that "Tic Tac" BMW M3 (E30) from the US screwdriver Mush Alkarkhi from the state of Utah. The passionate car freak built the E30 of his dreams himself. And that in the style of the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) car from 1991. But the BMW M3 Sport Evolution as a pure competition vehicle cannot approach this Tic Tac M3 keep up with the present. Because the monster actually works about 800 PS. But we'll get to that later. What is the Tic Tac M3 all about? And a bit of history: The Canadian racing driver drove at the beginning of the 1990s Allen mountain in the DTM with an M3 (E30) Sport Evo for the Tauber Motorsport Team. And it was less the success in the race than the special look of the car that was the highlight of the vehicle from the start.

2022 with a new look (see below)

The special optics even read the poor results back then (best run, eighth place in Singen) appear irrelevant. While the much more successful AC Schnitzer M3 or the vehicles from Team Bigazzi Currently hardly anyone has in mind with regard to the optics, there were and still are model kits and models of the Tic Tac vehicle.

He's for example for that Carrera racetrack made and also in virtual racing games like Gran Turismo Sport can you do the Tic Tac paint as an option. And now they are back in the real world. And more blatant than ever. And the widebody replica from the USA is once again based on a design template from the Instagram and digital artist Khyzyl Saleem (The Kyza) traced back. Overall, the conversion took a good six months and the base vehicle used was not an original M3, but a BMW 325i with S52 engine.

3,2-liter six-cylinder turbo engine S52b32

But the original engine is long gone. A is currently installed 3,2 liter six-cylinder with former 243 hp from the US version of the E36 M3. And, according to Mush, it now does a little more than 800 PS. So you almost have the performance tripled!!! How it works? Among other things, by means of XXL turbocharger, newer Pistons and connecting rods, huge Intercooler, more adapted Fresh air and fuel supply, specially mapped Engine control unit and lots Reinforcements and individual changes to the block and all surrounding vehicle parts. It is switched manually using Five-speed manual of an E36 M3 and there was one in the back Limited slip differential. Incidentally, the load is slowed down by means of Calipers and discs of an E46 BMW 3 Series. There was also a brutal lowering by means of Airlift air suspension and beyond that, insanely wide Brixton forged wheels.

extreme widening front and rear

And the rims look pretty familiar to us. We already have them on LTO BMW E30 Touring widebody seen. And that also applies to the body kit. We are already aware of this and come from LTO (Live To Offend). The bodykit spreads the body all around and also brings matching ones DTM style aprons as well as a befitting fixed one double rear wing With. In combination with the insanely huge one diffuser as well as the mentioned extensions, this replica is even bigger than the original DTM vehicle. It wasn't wider than the normal M3. And inside? There is OEM seats front, a 3,5 inch display to monitor boost pressure and fuel pressure and another screen is used to control the air suspension system. And finally ... Dreamlike! If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply do ours Feed subscribe to.
