In Greek mythology, Nemesis is the goddess of "righteous anger". Nowadays, however, it is more likely to be understood as an eternal opponent, an arch rival or, in the worst case, a mortal enemy. And that's exactly why many tuners also call their projects "Nemesis". Because vehicles like that 477 PS Pogea 4C Nemesis, NERO NEMESIS Aventador or even that 2.000 PS projectile Trion Nemesis to bring death to the competition. And the Russian tuner MTR Design who is planning a carbon body kit (also available in ABS plastic) with the suffix "Nemesis" for the current Lexus LX. The competition in the MTR environment is now effective Artisan spirits, Forest International or Larte design.
They have all dealt extensively with the Japanese luxury SUV and designed more or less numerous accessories. MTR Design scores particularly well with the fabulous visual carbon look that is particularly noticeable in combination with the silver-gray livery of the presentation vehicle. Developed for the LX a huge hood with Powerdome missed the SUV in combination with a newly designed grille an even more powerful appearance. For the front bumper, there is a shapely front splitter and also the LED daytime running lights including fog lights on the right and left were made especially by MTR.
But the body kit also includes small details such as the carbon mirror caps, the indicated gills for the front fender, the handle bar on the tailgate, the small panels above the taillights, the attachments on the right and left rear bumper or the chic tailpipe trims in the rear bumper. The larger components also include a redesigned roof spoiler and a sporty diffuser as a rear apron insert. With some skilful accents such as the Nemesis logo on the already mentioned gills or the elegant wheelset, the mighty LX is discreetly trimmed towards sportiness, making it seem less globally and clumsy as we find it.
Whether the Nemesis MTR Lexus LX, however, the mortal enemy for the above linked competitors will probably have to show the future. We like the conversion but pretty good and in this country, he should probably come across a lot of response. More details are not available for the LX by MTR Design at the moment.
