Unthinkable in this country, the current generation of the Toyota Camry has made a name for itself with many tuners in Asia. While in Germany and the USA it is mainly either pensioners or taxi companies who rely on the classic Toyota limousine, in China, for example, it can also inspire a young audience. So it is not surprising that there are various modified copies of the Japanese middle class that do their rounds in the Middle Kingdom. We would like to present a vehicle of the series to you today.
Lexus flair on the Toyota!
The eighth generation of the Camry, which is closely related to the Lexus ES, is no longer only noticed by the older generation, but can also win the hearts of young car tuners. In addition to silver foiling, this vehicle has custom BBS-LM-style wheels with a golden finish and a shiny chrome bed. An SCC Airride chassis with 3h control, which enables the chassis to be individually adjusted from the cockpit, was also installed in the Camry, as was a front spoiler lip, a Lexus diabolo grill and new air intakes.
At the rear, a CDM-typical duck-tail spoiler has been installed, and the taillight graphics are in the L-finesse design that usually adorns the headlights of current Lexus models. A Camber-Tuning is of course also on board and there is also an AP9040 brake system, which ensures that the vehicle comes to a safe stop at all speeds. Last but not least, various ornaments Stickers the vehicle that give the Camry a sportier attitude.
No information about the drive of the Camry!
Both four- and six-cylinder engines are available for the eighth generation Camry. There is also a petrol hybrid drive, which is particularly economical. Unfortunately, we do not know which engine is doing its job under the hood in this case. Our conclusion: A successful transformation that lets the layman believe a little that it is a Lexus. From our point of view, the modifications are appropriate and show that you can get a Camry out of the bourgeois corner.
