Powerful: 1976 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser as "Bad Boy" off-roader!

Off-road lovers came actually in 2020 at your own expense. Especially the new Ford Bronco was eagerly awaited and has so far largely met the high standards. At least feel we that so! The Bronco has some crazy hardware with it ex works, which leads to no less crazy capabilities away from paved slopes. It should be the top dog Jeep Wrangler have a hard time in the long run! V8 or not. And how about a decades-old Toyota? Depends on! The Japanese have been playing in the off-road segment for ages and know their way around. But we agree that a Japanese off-roader from the 1960s can actually do it not keep up with the new Bronco, and generally with no current off-roader. Yet this Land Cruiser is anders. It is a FJ40 from 1976 the extensive restauriert and then with countless components modified wurde.

The result is a real one Restomod off-roaderswho can compete with all current climbers. And we think it looks a lot better than the brand new Bronco. And also the controversial one Defender L663 or the Jeep Wrangler cannot stink in series production. However, that too is natural again just our very own opinion! The FJ40 still has the original 2F engine built into the 4-speed transmission (5:29), a Transfer Case and revised Differentials hangs. Specifically, there was a brand new one Cool- and Fuel system and a differential was installed on the front axle ARB freewheel hubs. At the back, however, is one from the manufacturer Detroit installed. The body of the Land Cruiser was made massive 37 inch (0,94 m) Maxxis Trepador off-road tires significantly raised, so that hardly an obstacle in the outback should be a problem and carries one ARB front apron. And just in case, there's another one too Roll cage installed, there is a LineX coating on the loading area and at the front is a powerful one Bull bar seen in black.

The interior is spartan comfortable but especially expedient fitted. It contains Sports Seats with integrated headrest, one Power Steering and even a big one Center console with Storage compartment is in. At the rear there is still a full one Spare wheel and Soft top for the ultimate Fresh air experience is of course removable and in a few minutes reinstalled. The FJ40 has only been moved approx. 16.000 km since the restoration and can currently over Classic Car Studio sogar Bought will. With a price of just under 47.000 US Dollars however, it is significantly more expensive than many newer ones Bronco or Wrangler. Hallo,
I really like the 1976 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser as a "bad boy" off-roader!
Are you in the process of restoring a bj 42 and wanted to ask what the color (color code) is called?
I'm happy to hear from you!

    Greetings Nick
