Toyota GR Supra (A90) from Alpina? Why not!

Toyota GR Supra (A90) from Alpina? Why not!

One thing in advance, the following images are virtual drawings by Abimelec Design and have nothing to do with the Alpina or Toyota brands. Nevertheless, the idea behind it is not bad, as we think. Because the current Toyota Supra already has many BMW parts, an Alpina variant of the MK5 would be conceivable, right? After all, the engine, the transmission and a large part of the interior comes from BMW. And that's exactly why the designer Abimelec Design got carried away to create a virtually tuned Alpina version of the Supra as the "Alpina Coupe S". The rendering shows the Supra with the typical Alpina front splitter and a set of modified side skirts is also installed. In addition, there was a new apron including a carbon diffuser at the rear of the sports car, which makes the rear view look significantly more aggressive than the series.

However, the modified sports exhaust system with four round chrome-plated tailpipes also has a part to play in this. Of course, all components of the body kit are painted in body color and in turn the entire vehicle is repainted. Namely in the classic Alpina blue metallic. And other colors such as Alpina green metallic are also included. But that's not all. Of course, the Alpina Coupe S also got the typical Alpina lettering in gold and our highlight is the classic Alpina wheel set in silver and with the Alpina emblem. This sits perfectly in the wheel arch due to a subtle lowering. But that's not all. Abimelec Design has also implemented a few smaller details.

darkened LED headlights

For example, new darkened headlights are installed, with yellow daytime running lights in the style of M5 CSM4 CSL. And instead of the Toyota emblem, the Alpina badge appears on the front and rear. Featuring a handful of different color configurations inside and out (Blue/White, Purple/Purple, Dark Red/Dark Red, Green/Brown, Black/Dark Red) the changes are impressively rounded off. Would it be conceivable that Alpina would bring a tuning package for the Supra? With a very high probability not. Because there is not even an Alpina version of the current Z4 (G29), which is the technical brother of the Japanese. Pity! If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
