He became known mainly through the broadcast Top Gear USA where he hosted alongside Adam Ferrara and Tanner Foust until the demotion in the year 2016. And Wood has always been an absolute fan of the Supra. This applies to the old model as well as the new generation. And for the current SEMA Auto Show Wood has approached Toyota with the idea of a vehicle according to his wishes and in cooperation with the tuner LL17 Motorsports to build. And the result is called Toyota GR Supra HyperBoost Edition and is more than successful. A clearly modified Supra with over 750 PS under the hood and an extensive carbon body kit. The "screwable“The body kit consists of 20 specially made parts and gives the Supra a completely new look.

The apron at the front got a carbon spoiler lip and widening on both sides and also the fenders all around are much bigger with big attachments. This is joined by new side skirts and of course something has done at the rear. Here was a huge rear wing in the style of the legendary predecessor and beyond a large Ducktail spoiler lip. And of course, the rear skirt was changed. Also, it is widened on both sides and of course there was the factory-installed diffuser with the central LED tail light. And even the roof has been changed and replaced by a lighter carbon variant. Apart from the visible carbon components and the roof, the entire body is wrapped in the elegant TRD Cement Gray which we really like.
Lightspeed Racing forged wheels in 20 inches
Incidentally, the widened wheel arches are filled with beautiful three-piece Lightspeed Racing forged wheels in 20 inches, which impress in particular with the apple candy red finish of the rim star and the carbon rim legs. And the new set of rims is also fitted optimally in the wheel arches due to a KW variant 3 coilover suspension. The wheel set is equipped with Continental ExtremeContact sports tires. And a look through the spokes of the Alus also reveals a completely modified brake system. An 6 piston brake system from Brembo is used, which ensures a proper deceleration with large slotted brake discs and red painted calipers. And of course the brake system has a reason. And he sits under the long bonnet. As already mentioned, the BMW 3-liter big B58 6 cylinder engine was inflated significantly.
Boost Logic's BL Supra 750 Package
LL17 Motorsports uses Boost Logic's BL Supra 750 Package (new turbos, chip tuning, etc.), a purpose-built titanium sports exhaust system with new manifolds and downpipe, and a massive boost logic air intake kit boosted performance to over 750 horsepower. Should be called Woods HyperBoost Edition Supra is more than twice as strong compared to the 340 PS production version. And we are pretty sure that there were changes in the interior as well.
