A few days ago we reported that the German tuner DTE and the British company Litchfield Motors already a first Chiptuning for the brand new Toyota Yaris GR have three-cylinder engines with 261 hp. Progress was already faster than at the time when the Supra A90 was introduced. An indication that the little hot hatch could make life difficult for the tuning legend in the future. And now comes the next one Upgrade. And that is more powerful than you might think. Because the Japanese tuner has it within a very short time TOM'S managed a complete WRC-style aerodynamics package to manufacture for the Yaris. And in our opinion the body kit is really impressive.

The tuner with its own racing team in the backhand recently gave the car a small live stream (due to the canceled Tokyo Auto Salon 2021), where the fully restored # 36 Toyota Castrol Supra was also shown. The visual changes at the GR Yaris by Takamoto Katsuta (Rennfahrer) show up with a completely new one front apronthat is clearly changed. It shows up in front with a large front spoiler and in the middle there is enough space for the air supply for the Intercooler. There are also integrated ones on both sides canards and also the flow of the Cooling air for the Bremsanlage one has optimized. The front and rear fenders seem unchanged, but there are new ones in between side skirts. And that has changed significantly rear view. On the one hand, the little athlete was given a rather powerful one Henkel (Roof spoiler with canards) and on the other side a completely modified one rear apron.

The apron at the back still seems to be that Original component to act, but this was both sides with big air openings provided and also wears a new one rear diffuser With a central exhaust system and Tailpipe in XXL format. A pretty big appearance for the little one! The visual changes are rounded off with a new one wheelset. The black photo vehicle is 18 inches tall Rays G025 alloy wheels with Dunlop SP Sport Max tiresthat suit the Yaris much better than the standard 18 inchers. Even the forged 18 inch BBS rims optionally available from Toyota don't look so beefy. However, one must also not forget that the body of this vehicle means Luck V1 DFA dampers including the 24-way adjustment has been lowered a good deal. That makes the new rims look significantly different. And there is another one on the vehicle Bremsanlage to see.
6-piston braking system from Endless
Installed is a 6-piston braking system from Endless instead of the regular 4-piston system. And we're pretty sure that this will also be reflected in the performance of the three-cylinder did something. However, there is no information on this yet. But we know that in the interior there are two sporty, slim Recaro RMS2600A carbon bucket seats are installed. But still with Serial belts. And by no means are they completely over anymore Carbon manufactured Door panels and the Carbon gear knob. The kit is expected to be in Spring-summer be available!
