The current Hilux will be the Ranger Raptor competitor on the part of Toyota Toyota Hilux GR Sport. The model is inspired by the Toyota Dakar racing cars and is intended to offer a completely new driving experience both on and off-road. The well-known 2,8-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel sits under the hood 204 PS and 500 Nm torquewho to a Six-speed automatic is coupled. The automatic transmits the power either to the rear axle or to all four wheels. Plus there is Locking differentials , and a Reduction gear. The most important feature of the GR Sport version, besides the adapted optics, see gallery below, are the technical changes. the suspension has received new monotube shock absorbers and new front wheel springs for better damping performance, faster response and better heat dissipation.

These are the Coil springs Stiffened at the front and including the shock absorbers, they are painted red. According to Toyota, these are better than the standard Hilux driving characteristics, Steering anglewhich steering behavior, Straight ahead and the driving comfort.
