OMG, is that a Tesla drive in a Supra? AND! The tuner who is currently carrying out the conversion actually ordered Tesla components for the project from the Californian specialist Stealth EV. This includes, for example, a complete rear subframe of a model S P100D, plus there was the electric drive, axles, wishbones and even the braking system from Tesla Motors. The performance is over 500 hp and we certainly don't have to mention that such a conversion is extremely complex. After all, no Tesla component simply fits into an old Supra. Especially not the large 90 kWh battery from the Ludicrous Model S. It is now located where the 2JZ was installed and some of the cells have ended up in the trunk for better weight distribution. As you can see in the photos, the project is far from over.

Incidentally, the conversion is carried out by Ryan (Nickname "stukinthe90s"). Apart from the above-mentioned engine replacement Supra project, there is also a 1997 Supra with a 2JZ turbo conversion and six-speed manual transmission, there is a 1992 Acura NSX with two turbochargers, a 1994 Mazda RX-7 with LS3-V8, and a 1999 R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R with turbocharger and a 2013 Tesla Model S P85 +. So this vehicle is not a one-off project by Ryan, but is part of a whole series of planned conversions. In terms of the idea, however, it is probably already unique (at least for the moment).
