Feeling is to see a modified Supra (A90) at every second booth for the current SEMA Auto Show. The risen classic is the tuning favorite 2019 and from subtle to extreme in any variations issued. And that's it Toyota Supra Wasabi Concept. A copy in the strong Wasabi green (also called Japanese horseradish or water horseradish) definitely attracts the looks. The vehicle was built by the Toyota Genuine Accessory Team to increase interest in future Japanese accessories. And finally we see again a vehicle without exorbitant fender flares! Although the Wasabi Conzept also received a small aerodynamic package, so immense like 80% of all other conversions it is definitely not. There was a large front splitter with aerodynamic flaps on both sides, matching side skirts and a new rear apron insert which allows the exhaust system to move into the middle with two large tailpipes.

The series usually has an LED rear fog light at this point. It's gone now. But this variant has something and looks pretty consistent as we find it. Especially with the fixed rear wing. But of course the exhaust system has to be changed. But even here you have a sporty system in your repertoire. And clearly there was also a new set of wheels. Matt black 6-twin-spoke forged wheels in the format 20 × 10 inches are installed on the front axle and 20 × 11 inches at the rear, which are also fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. A look through the spokes reveals a modified braking system. The decision was made in favor of a 6-piston system from Brembo with 405 mm two-part discs on the front axle and a 4-piston system with 380 mm discs on the rear axle. Incidentally, the brake calipers are painted white.

Coilovers from Öhlins Road & Track

All four discs are slotted for better ventilation and cooling and should ensure a species-appropriate deceleration of the Supra. And the 2020 Toyota Supra Wasabi Concept can also boast a lowering. This is made possible by a fully adjustable coilover kit from Öhlins Road & Track that can even be configured in rebound and compression. Only the performance has apparently not changed. In other words, the B58 BMW engine still delivers the factory 340 hp and 500 Newton meters of torque. For this, the engine is now covered by a special strut bar in white. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
