Toyota took many special vehicles with them to the SEMA Show 2021 with a focus on a wide variety of functions. And the Toyota TRD Desert Chase Concept is such a vehicle. The mighty pickup has been on display in the Las Vegas Convention Center since yesterday and until November 5th and is inspired by various desert racing vehicles. Hence the name. The show car was made by TRD and Marty swords in the Toyota Motorsport garage built and based on a 2022 Tundra TRD Pro. Because the brand new Tundra will be launched this year and will be launched with an improved platform and more payload. And, according to Toyota, there is no better way to demonstrate the capabilities of the tundra than with a "Desert-Race special vehicle". One of the highlights is a Wide body kit with fat fenders all around, the im North Carolina composite shop was developed by TRD and is joined by forged ones 18 inch alloy wheels from Method Race Wheels with 37 inch (0,94 m) all-terrain General Tire Grabber X3 off-road tires.
