How extreme the differences can be when it comes to modifying the BMW M235i. beginning of January we showed you a BMW M235i, modified by EAS (European Auto Source), which was modified by means of 18 inch Apex EX-7 wheelset, Dinan P2 performance enhancement or a Hamann sports exhaust system in the direction of more sportiness and yet remains suitable for everyday use. The EAS can show you in a completely different way on request with an optically almost identical M235i which, however, certainly does not want to know anything about everyday life and is at home on the racetrack. The most extreme changes can be found in the interior because everything that causes weight and was not absolutely needed flew out in a high arc. Not only did it hit the back seat, no, the front seats were also removed and only one was reinstalled! The driver now sits on an ultra-light Cobra bucket seat and the passenger either on a beer crate next to it or stays completely outside. The guys around the EAS team published the radical project the days and of course we have to show it to you.
After the extensive tuning cure that the M235i was allowed to endure, it is now much sportier, lighter and more dynamic than the production version and should actually only feel really comfortable on the track. If you are thinking of buying an M235i in the future and would like to convert it into a track tool, the EAS version might be a good template for you.
