The end 2017 has the British car manufacturer Aston Martin presented the new Vantage. With a look close to the DB10 and the 510 PS strong V8 bi-turbo from the Mercedes C63 AMG, the conditions for success could not be better. With a starting price of at least 155.000 €, the chic coupe is not necessarily a bargain. Apparently, the diehard Aston Martin fans see it that way, because so far the sales figures are falling short of expectations. Impeccable workmanship, good driving values or a supposedly successful look are not everything. The spark just has to jump over!
2019 Aston Martin Vantage
Maybe he does that if you miss the Vantage a portion of tuning. That's exactly what the team from Wheelsandmore done from Baesweiler near Aachen. The guys see themselves as global pioneers when it comes to tuning Aston Martin models and rely on improved optics and significantly more performance. The visible highlight of the Wheelsandmore Aston Martin Vanquish are in any case the beautiful multi-part forged wheels in 21 and 22 inches with the unusual bolt circle 5 × 128 mm. The well-known 6Sporz² wheel with a noble carbon look surface and the new FORK rim, which can be found in the tuner's range as a concave, directional wheel design with central locking optics, are suitable for the British.

The dimensions are identical for both. At the front there are either 9,5 × 21 or 11,5 × 21 inches with tires in the format 265/35 or 315/30, but larger 10,0 × 22 inches with 265/30 slippers also fit. And it is even more powerful on the rear axle, where 12,0 × 22 inch aluminum with tires in size 315/25 are accommodated. And a lowering seems to have already been installed. However, specific details are currently lacking. Maybe Wheelsandmore, like the predecessor, on lowering springs to lower the front and rear by 30 to 35mm. In any case, the real highlight is the increase in performance of the M177 DE engine. With a larger turbocharger, high-quality sports catalytic converters including valve exhaust system and a corresponding chip tuning, it goes from 510 PS & 685 Nm to a huge 680 PS & 820 Nm.
0 at 100 km / h in just 3,3 seconds
The athlete manages the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3,3 seconds (series 3,6) and the end is only at over 330 km / h (series 314 km / h). These are key data at the level of the significantly more expensive DBS Superleggera which brings with it a whopping 5,2 PS & 12 NM with 725-liter V900 biturbo. However, it needs "measured" 100 seconds for the sprint to 3,9 km / h and is not available for less than 274.995 euros. If the above-mentioned increase in performance is too much, there is also the option of using a simple plug-and-play solution or chip tuning to get an upgrade to "only" 590 PS or 626 PS.
