Today we want you one Dodge RAM 1500 pickup show the Munich company Car Magnus was refined and through AEC imported from the USA. Before any approval in Germany is possible, the Ram had to undergo a homologation for use in Europe and there were also a lot of modifications. The main focus of the conversion is on a new wheelset but also an increase in performance and a modified chassis were installed. At the front, a stainless steel front bar was installed, which was manufactured by AEC and the US car dealer Magnus and is also equipped with large Hella taillights. And as already mentioned, there was also a new wheel / tire combination and here they decided for 9 × 17 inch RDR RD02 ROCKY wheels with 315 / 70 tires and 34 around it spacers.
In order for everything to receive the German TÜV blessing additional wheel arches had to be attached to the fenders which ensure that the tread of the tires is covered according to the regulations. If you take a closer look at the RAM, you will also notice a raise. Here comes from the Munich importer Bodylift kit that ensures that the body of the pick-up by about 3 inches (about 7,5cm) goes up. And as mentioned earlier, the V8 also had a performance upgrade and a particularly useful gimmick. The 5,7 l engine got its own chip tuning on about 420 PS (series 401 PS) and beyond even more gas system which ensures significantly lower maintenance costs.
Incidentally, the increased performance results in an increased top speed to now 195 km / h. And so you can hear the massive V8 also there was a stainless steel sports exhaust system with tailpipes in series optics. Last detail is still a fitting and quite useful cargo space cover.
