Tuning on Rolls Royce Wraith by Mcchip-DKR

[the_ad id=”128325″]Previously, when ordering a Rolls Royce and its performance, there was still the slightly “funny” note “sufficient”! Anything but precise these days. Because what is "sufficient"? In any case, it is not the original performance of 632 hp and 800 Nm of the Rolls Royce Wraith. At least when it comes to the tuner Mcchip-DKR.

Mcchip-DKR offers the following tuning:

  • V12 performance increase to 697 PS and 920 Nm
  • Duration about one working day

[the_ad id=”128325″]Actually one should be of the opinion that the Rolls Royce Wraith 6.6 V12 bi-turbo is an extremely rare guest in terms of tuning and the chance to see two performance-enhanced variants in our areas is almost impossible. Of course it is possible to help the BMW N74 V12 with its 6,6 l displacement to achieve more power, but the clientele that can afford the Wraith, which costs at least 279.531 euros (including VAT), usually has little to do with tuning. But at mcchip-dkr there was again a Rolls Royce Wraith on site and here too the series output of 632 PS & 800 NM torque was apparently not enough so that the owner himself like the owner of the Wraith from above opted for chip tuning. After about 6 hours of work, the noble Briton now pushes a whopping 698 PS / 931 NM torque onto the roller, which should ensure that when accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h it is certainly 0,2-0,4 seconds less than with the production vehicle that takes 4,6 seconds for this discipline. Unfortunately, the mcchip did not provide any information as to whether the software of the 8-speed automatic from ZF (8HP90) also had to be changed or whether this is the version delivered from the factory. If we still receive this information, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
