Basically you can almost always only see cars from Carlex Design which have been completely reworked inside but are nearly series on the outside. Apart from Red Carbonic Z4 or the conspicuous one Nissan GT-R "Robin" This has always been the case, but today there is something new. Carlex Design presented before 2 days on his side a completely revised Toyota Tacoma outside also has not really something to do with the production model. But let's start inside! The style of the interior adapts exactly to the matt green military look of the outer skin, inside a green military color dominates the cockpit and only the black of the plastic parts and the seat inserts add a few accents. The interior of the Tacoma has been completely reinterpreted by Carlex, from the newly leather-covered sports steering wheel, the completely covered dashboard to the stylish sports seats. Nice details like the leather-covered gear lever or the completely covered headliner clearly make the exclusive difference. And also a lot has happened on the outside, The Tacoma got a powerful underrun protection including winch in front, a set of huge off-road tires with black alloy wheels and the already mentioned matte green foliation. On the roof shines a huge LED light bar and the riveted fender flares all around it is not so factory.

The Carlex team released the completely redesigned Toyota Tacoma and we are of course happy to show you the pictures. After the extremely comprehensive and quite huge tuning cure that the pickup was allowed to endure, it is now visually much more off-road, much more individual on the inside, and visually much beefier than the production version without being overdone or even chubby.

new interior & exterior

So if you have been secretly thinking of buying a Toyota Tacoma, which is rare in Germany, or even a happy owner, Carlex Design is certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model, at least inside. Unfortunately, we do not yet know who made the changes outside, but I have a relatively high probability that it was not the tuner from Poland.

As far as the changes to optics or technology are concerned, we have tried to make out the most important details on the basis of the pictures because Carlex has kept quite a low profile in this regard. As always, we have listed what came out of it in the lower part of the article in a small summary for you. If you discover more changes that we have missed, please use our comment box and let us know, we will then add them to the article as soon as possible.

Ps. You liked Carlex Design? Then we have something for you, following a few examples which vehicles from Carlex-Design have already been published on tuningblog:
