It's been 3 weeks ago that we got the EZ Lip Spoilerlippe from the Seker-Tuning Onlineshop have reported, The options, the possibilities and also a lot of pictures made it clear where to place the flexible component anywhere and how versatile it can be used. Today the first sunbeams were out and for us that was reason enough to test the whole thing in reality. At our already known Opel Corsa D with OPC-Line sports package we wanted to block the EZ Lip and within about 30 minutes we were just as successful as the manufacturer indicates. We think the overall impression of the vehicle is certainly more valuable and especially the design of the matt black rubber lip is very similar to the way they are installed by many manufacturers ex factory. No exaggerated appearance, no shape that does not fit the body and above all no 0815 optics as with many GFRP components.

Ps. Sorry already for the attractive ambience 😂, but this time we saved ourselves the trip to our workshop because the installation (extension), as already mentioned, can be carried out easily and by a layperson at home.

Here we go…

This is what the whole thing looks like when it is delivered, and as already mentioned, we opted for the "normal" 6cm version because our Corsa already has the OPC Line package with an additional front spoiler and the whole should not be too deep.

This is how the bumper looks without the spoiler lip, our Corsa is lowered by approx. 20 mm and everything should remain in the drivable area even with the spoiler lip.

The winter has clearly left its mark here and many scratches testify to our 750m altitude and the associated snow and ice.

In the operating instructions it is recommended to heat the component to which the EZ Lip is to be attached and also to warm the adhesive of the spoiler lip. Even though it was quite springy with 10 ° outside temperature today, this option is unavoidable if the spoiler lip should not fly off at the first moment.

Here you can see the red protective film that you have to remove gradually to expose the adhesive. We recommend to remove the film only in small pieces and to attach the spoiler lip to the bumper. If you remove the protective film completely from running you risk that this dirty and the liability is no longer given.

Absolutely you should clean again with a cleaner (degreaser) the part of the component on which the spoiler lip is to be glued. For us this was the front bumper and so we cleaned it with a cloth by hand.

Our hot air dryer we have set to about 110 ° and so we run no risk that we damage the spoiler lip, or the bumper, too much heat.

Simply warm the component and then briefly heat the adhesive of the EZ Lip with the hot air blower.

As already mentioned, you should peel off the red protective film only partially, we have removed about 20 cm here and after we glued 10-15 cm to the bumper then again deducted about 20 cm and so went all the way to the spoiler lip completely attached was.

It is also helpful if you press the spoiler lip several times firmly so that every millimeter of the adhesive has contact with the bumper. Only in this way is an absolutely secure hold guaranteed.

The fact that the EZ Lip consists of rubber only makes the correct cutting extremely simple because with a sharp cutter you can easily cut off the rest of the rest with one cut.

Here is the spoiler lip also attached to the other side and as you can see this page is not spared by winter scratches.

The following pictures show you the fully fitted spoiler lip and in our opinion the manufacturer does not promise too much. For our vehicle, we found the matte black version the best and if you did not know better you could also suspect that the lip belongs to the OPC line package. It does not look exaggerated or artificial but integrates perfectly with the design of the vehicle and the shape of the bumper.
