It's been two days since we sent you the chic red 900PS Audi R8 V10 4's bi-turbo from Wheels Boutique presented, and thus the second such conversion after the 850PS version of Wheelsandmore, What we did not forget is the small one Preview from early August from Underground Racing of Charlotte, North Carolina in the United States. The tuner, known for extreme bi-turbo conversions, announced that it would work on a bi-turbo conversion with MoTeC M1 software, which should ideally deliver an incredible 2.000 hp engine power in the new R8. They are not quite that far, but at least UR has now presented an R8 V10 Plus on its side that is already capable of producing 1.250PS on the bike with racing fuel. After all, this corresponds to a good 1.400-1.500PS engine power and is not that far from the desired result. But you shouldn't really think about it seriously, for average consumers it is possible to be on public roads with 1.500PS & more.

Without words ... Incidentally, as already mentioned, this conversion is based on a JRR MoTeC M1 ECU software which of course only represents a fraction of all changes made. Because, quite incidentally, with such a radical conversion, of course, the entire engine has to be revised and surrounding parts such as the gearbox or the drives by no means remain series. The Underground Racing team released the Power R8 with some pictures and we are of course happy to show them to you. After the extensive and extreme tuning cure that this R8 was allowed to endure, it is visually hardly changed but with more than 1.000PS on chic golden 20 inch alloy wheels. So if you have been thinking of buying an R8 V10 for a long time or if you are already a happy owner, Underground Racing is certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to breathing extreme power into the R8. The long way to the USA could be worthwhile for this, because at least in Germany we are currently not aware of any tuners who push the current R8 into this performance range.
