New VW Amarok & Camping models for the 2023 all-wheel adventure! — The all-electric Transporter ID. On June 8th, one of the world's leading trade fairs for off-road and camping experiences will open its doors in picturesque Bad Kissingen, Bavaria. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VWN) will be present together with a large number of partners in the well-known joint pavilion (booth M27). Apart from the wealth of innovative exhibits to look at and try out, off-road test drives in the brand new Amarok are offered. Off-road, leisure and commercial versions are the focal points of the VWN appearance in and around the tent. In addition to its camping models, VWN is also bringing its latest pick-up model, the Amarok, to the exhibition. This will also be present on the off-road route and offer rides. In addition, 17 partners are presenting their new developments based on various Volkswagen commercial vehicle models such as the Caddy, Crafter, ID. Buzz or Transporter series.

2023 adventure all-wheel drive

Body builders such as Seikel, Terracamper, Werz Motorhomes and Woelcke will be presenting various expedition, off-road and camping concepts, while experience GmbH will be presenting its latest expedition trips. Road Ranger/Dr. Höhn, Rival Europe, Alu-Cab/Genesis Import, SpaceCamper, BUS-BOXX, Ullstein and Fiftyten have other off-road and leisure solutions in their luggage; vanexxt unveils two brand new mobile homes at the trade fair. One of them, fully equipped, weighs just 430 kilograms and promises to impress on pick-ups in off-road use. The CamperBoys, as rental companies for camping models, are also represented at the fair, as are the Car-electric companies with their upgrades for the energy supply in Volkswagen California models, and the E-Lions, which are currently converting an Amarok (first generation) to hydrogen drive and want to use it as an escort vehicle for press photographers at the Dakar 2024 in Saudi Arabia.

Alu-Cab and Genesis Import are presenting an Overlander, a long-distance motorhome based on the new Amarok. The "Black Edition" from SpaceCamper is also definitely worth seeing: A T6.1 4MOTION with differential lock, completely in black, is offered in limited quantities. Another innovation is the Ququq camping box with integrated kitchen and bed for the all-electric ID. buzz This box can also be used in the ID. Use buzz cargo. It contains a built-in kitchen, table, sink and a two-burner gas stove, two fresh water canisters, each with a capacity of ten liters, storage space and space for a cool box. This includes a folding bed (lying area 125 x 195 cm) with a ten centimeter thick cold foam mattress. With this offer, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is demonstrating that traveling and camping in a fully electric vehicle is possible with little effort.
