Caddy California (from 30.339,05 euros). The Caddy California is the successor to the micro-camper Caddy Tramper, or later Caddy Beach, which has been available since 2005. The newest member of the California family comes up with its camping equipment "ex works" with compact dimensions (length 4,5m or as a maxi 4,85m). The "little one" offers sleeping comfort thanks to disc springs under the comfortable mattress like the "big" California and with its optional panoramic glass roof it offers a unique opportunity to watch the stars from the bed.

The Caddy California is as compact as it is flexible: If the bed is not needed, it can be removed in a few simple steps, turning the camper into a transporter. If you want, you can even get a pull-out mini-kitchen in the rear of the vehicle, where you can conjure up “one-pot” dishes under the tailgate. No other campervan represents the feeling of freedom and adventure like the California with its characteristic pop-top roof. The icon of all motorhomes - the Bulli-based California - is available in the Beach Tour, Beach Camper, Coast and Ocean configurations. All four models are also available in an exclusive "Edition" version. There is a suitable vehicle for every purpose in the segment - be it a beach tour with up to seven seats or an exclusively equipped California Ocean. All versions of the California 6.1 offer perfectly stowed camping furniture as well as two sleeping areas: below on the fold-out rear bench (including bed extension) and one level higher under the practical pop-up roof. The legendary Bulli driving experience and a vehicle height of 1,99 meters make it suitable for everyday use. Because the best time to travel with the California is anytime.

Grand California (from 61.856,20 euros)
The fully-fledged motorhome based on the Crafter, with its own bathroom and shower on board, offers great independence and flexibility when traveling. The Grand California is available as a 600 (length approx. 6 meters) with a transversely built-in bed in the rear and an optional cot in the high roof and as a 680 (length approx. 6,8 m) with a large longitudinal bed in the rear. Both versions have a practical kitchenette with a 2-burner gas cooker and compressor refrigerator that can be opened from both the inside and the outside. So the cool drink or refreshing ice cream from the freezer compartment is always at hand. So that the energy does not run out, a solar panel on the roof can provide "replenishment". A central control panel provides information about the vehicle's energy balance, the fill levels of the water tanks and enables many technical functions to be controlled. Sales of the California models were once again significantly increased compared to the previous year. So are the incoming orders for the California 6.1. for example 34,5% above the previous year's level. VWN has been manufacturing the iconic motorhome based on the Bulli in its own California production facility in Hanover-Limmer since 2004. More than 154.000 California have now left the hall and are at home all over the world. Since the introduction of the VW California based on the T3 (1988), over 217.000 California based on the Transporter have been produced. In order to reduce the delivery times for the Grand California, the production capacity has been expanded. Some variants are now even available this year.

California on tour app
The app is the ideal digital companion for the camping road trip. Using the app, you can quickly and easily find a suitable camping and parking space or a gas station along the planned route. With the help of a clear category search, the app provides important information about the next stops on the journey.

In addition, the app offers a lot of technical information about the California as well as access to the digital operating instructions for the vehicle. In this way, the required information can be called up quickly and easily. This makes traveling with the California even more relaxed.

Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge (VWN) and hinterland camp GmbH enable owners of California and VW motorhomes to spend the night exclusively on unique parking spaces in the hinterland with the “Hotel-VW-California”.
